Snape Wood Primary & Nursery School takes its responsibility for the public funds it receives very seriously. The Governing Body have overall responsibility for the finances of the school and receive regular reports from the Head Teacher and School Business Manager who are responsible on a day-to-day basis. The Local Authority also monitors the school's finances on a monthly basis and will intervene if felt necessary, ie in a deficit budget situation. A 3 year plan is developed on an annual basis to monitor future income and expenditure and ensure that the school is operating within its budget.
The school undertakes a benchmarking exercise on an annual basis to compare income and expenditure against schools with similar characteristics or in the same Local Authority.
There are no school employees whose gross salary exceeds £100K
